Tell us what would make Matn more useful for your study. We read every request, but cannot promise a timetable.

Account and data requests

For a copy of, or deletion of, your waitlist record, email from the same address you used to join the waitlist. For account, synced data, contributed recitation data, or privacy questions, include the email address used to sign in to Matn. Do not send passwords or private keys.

Delete your Matn account

You can request account deletion inside Matn:

Open Matn and go to Settings.
Open Account, then select Delete account.
Confirm the request using your current sign-in method.

If you cannot access the app, email hello@matn.dev from the address used for your Matn account. We may ask you to verify that you own the account before deletion.

Account deletion removes your Firebase Authentication account and starts removal of cloud data linked to it, including synced progress, reviews, favourites, your daily wird, saved recordings, issue reports linked to the account, contributed recitation clips, and contribution metrics. The request does not delete a separate waitlist record. Local-only data remains on the device until you delete the app or its data.

Cloud removal is complete when the deletion job finishes. Consent-based Firebase Analytics keeps event-level data for 2 months, and user-level data until 14 months after your last activity; Crashlytics keeps reports for up to 90 days. These records do not include your email, name, text content, or recordings. Feedback sent through Wiredash is not linked to your account, so account deletion does not reach it; to have it deleted, email hello@matn.dev with the address you gave in that feedback, if any, or roughly when you sent it.

In-app data controls

Inside Matn, Settings includes controls for usage data, crash reports, contributed recitation clips, and account deletion. Deleting your account starts removal of cloud data linked to that account. Deleting the app removes local-only data from that device.

Audio and recitation troubleshooting

Check that microphone permission is enabled for Matn.
Open Settings, then Recitation recognition, and make sure the recognition model is downloaded.
If recording is empty, disconnect Bluetooth headsets and try the built-in microphone.
To improve the words Matn recognises during recitation, use a quiet space and pause briefly after the final word.

Platform availability

Matn is not publicly available. It is currently in private TestFlight and Google Play internal testing. Join the waitlist to receive a confirmation email.
